Recently the pool store said the cleaner is tool old to be fixed anymore and is better to replace the entire cleaner with anothe The Polaris 360 came with the house when we purchase back in '93. It runs off the existing (and only) 1hp pump. I had the unit serviced yearly starting about 5 years into it. It is always in the pool and starts when the filter comes on. Works OK but, not great for odd shaped pools. ALso, comes with cheap China parts. Cheap plastic parts prone to repair and damage, bag not enough for collecting larger leafs, works great for rectangular pools but, not so great for odd shaped pools with tight corners. We want let the machine take the donkey work but, amigo, in the pool business, the machines only supplement the work but, you still have to do the donkey labor. Particularly when you have trees around the pool and when the trees shed lot of leaves.

Working good. Even cleans up walls of pool Working good. Even cleans up walls of pool. Only problems were when received, the device which makes it back up was installed backwards. Fortunately I had the 360 before and reversed the part. Also the pressure valve that has quick fit to side of pool was so tight I could not relieve the pressure. Finally used pliers to loosen the fitting. Other than these two items the pool cleaner works as expected and saved money.
