Do I have a choice? The older design has a clip that attached to the hose easily and quickly. This design wraps around the hose with velcro and is awkward to attach.
I'd recommend letting the bag sit in the sun and dry ... This worked perfectly for the pool cleaner in our house. I'd recommend letting the bag sit in the sun and dry before trying to empty it, otherwise it can be a pain to get everything out sufficiently.
