It's a Polaris part The part was almost half the price of the store, so was surprised when it arived to find out that it was a Polaris part. Worked like a dream and was teh exact same as the part I was replacing that was about 2 years old.Great price for a genuine part.
easy way to replace vac bag We have the Polaris pool bot so when the mesh tore, we skipped the pool store to have a replacement one delivered to our door. The bot runs everyday for a couple of hours and the bag we replaced was over a year old - not a bad lifespan for a mesh bag collecting leaves, sticks and bugs in a chlorine environment.
Polaris Pool Sediment Replacement Bag Great! Product works well, bag collects almost everything, including the smallest of particles. I discovered you can also use the bag to manually to skim the surface because the dense fibers are able to collect very fine particles (although a silt skimmer would probably be much better). Skip local store - Go Amazon! Needed a new bag for my Polaris 280. Went to the local store (Leslie) and was surprised to see the price had gone up considerably from last year. Took it to the checkout anyway (I needed it). Made a comment to the clerk about how expensive it was. He replied back with a simple smirk... The polaris is the one of the greatest inventions for pool owners everywhere.This 280 all purpose bag replaced the previous worn out bag I had.The netting is sufficiently small to catch not only dead debris and leaves but it also picks up quite a bit of sand and particulates at the bottom of my pool. Its very easy to replace and well made as all polaris stuff is.only problem I've had so far, is that when I empty the bag, the super strong velcro caught on the netting and is starting to produce some snags.oh we... read more
