easy way to replace vac bag We have the Polaris pool bot so when the mesh tore, we skipped the pool store to have a replacement one delivered to our door. The bot runs everyday for a couple of hours and the bag we replaced was over a year old - not a bad lifespan for a mesh bag collecting leaves, sticks and bugs in a chlorine environment.

I discovered you can also use the bag to manually to skim the surface because the dense fibers are able to collect very fine particles (although a silt skimmer would probably be much better). free of leaves! The polaris is the one of the greatest inventions for pool owners everywhere. This 280 all purpose bag replaced the previous worn out bag I had. The netting is sufficiently small to catch not only dead debris and leaves but it also picks up quite a bit of sand and particulates at the bottom of my pool.
