easy way to replace vac bag We have the Polaris pool bot so when the mesh tore, we skipped the pool store to have a replacement one delivered to our door. The bot runs everyday for a couple of hours and the bag we replaced was over a year old - not a bad lifespan for a mesh bag collecting leaves, sticks and bugs in a chlorine environment.

I discovered you can also use the bag to manually to skim the surface because the dense fibers are able to collect very fine particles (although a silt skimmer would probably be much better).
