Good replacement for original bag Doesn't have the zipper like the original. Its velcro. Seems to work just as well.
excellent bag Definitely like this bag better than the original dual zipper bag. Easier to empty however wish it came with the clip to attach to the hose.
Big Black BAG Larger then the former model but slightly more difficult to attach and empty. While the zippered opening may last longer then the Velcro it is harder to close when there is any sandy material present in the bag. I brought this one specifically to swap with the the original bag so that I can clean one and switch in one motion. Over all its very good
Recommend After the flooding from Hurricane Sandy my pool had alot of fine sand and silt. The premium bag that came with the Polaris wouldn't retain the fine particles - they would go right through the bag and back into the water. The Sand/Silt bag did an excellent job of picking them up and clearing the pool. It only has 1 chamber (it would be even better with 2 chambers ...similar to the premium bag) but even with 1 chamber it is well worth the money for fine particle pick-up.
Poor Quality Poor quality bag that did not perform as description. Sent back for a refund and company denied it saying it was used. Of course it was used! And it did not work therefore I returned it! How a company can do this and say they will refund is ridiculous! After spending $45 on a product that doesn’t work. Completely annoyed with their service!
Poor quality The velcro that holds the bag upright ripped off within a couple weeks. Bag was not full or heavy, just poor construction.Look elsewhere for a quality bag.
NOT A TRUE REPLACEMENT The refuge compartment of the bag, the portion that collects the silt and debris, is about one third the size of the original. You would have to empty the bag 3X more often and some debris won't even fit. DON'T BUY!
Don't recommend. Lasted 8 months before slitting. Don't recommend.
No good. Not good. did not last a couple of weeks. It broke right where the plastic meets the netting and with a tear that low everything that gets sucked up just goes right back into the pool. I dont expect these to last more than a season anyways but 2 weeks is ridiculous!
