Not the Quietest pump but has great flow Actually makes more noise then the cheaper knockoff's but seems to have more flow.

Familiar Performance: Loud Noisy Pump & Cheapened Build Quality I purchased this Zodiac PB4-60 Polaris Booster Pump to replace another Polaris branded booster pump that was 14 years old. It served me well and it's hard not to go back with the same brand when you feel you have gotten your monies worth on a product. NEW BOOSTER PUMP The product was delivered exactly on time. It was adequately packed and I was pleased to see that new hoses and connectors were included. My electrician installed it (professional installation is recommended) whilst I connected the hoses. This is very easy with the improved connectors. The product gave every impression of high quality and it started without incident and the cleaner worked properly. It has been used half a dozen times so far and runs quietly without any problems.
