We are very pleased with our new Polaris pool sweeper. It is doing a great job keeping the pool clean and since it doesn’t have a “tail” we no longer get water sprayed on the windows. It was installed by our pool service company quickly.

The unit works great, but it is a little heavy? As large as the the leaf collector/sand collector is, it still has to emptied a couple times a day (NorCal)...The weight makes that task more challenging for us older guys.

When it works, it works well. I purchased this cleaner in April of this year because our older one continuously needed to be repaired. Disappointingly, It has been at the pool repair shop 3 times this season, causing a lot of down time, due to different parts breaking down in the course of cleaning. I expected more from a cleaner of this price point.
