Thanks, Amazon!! Unbelievable!! I ordered this Polaris 280, yesterday, and when I came home from work today, it was sitting in my foyer!! Since our old Polaris was not really working, our pool was accumulating leaves at a furious clip. Solid Vacuum Does a good job of keeping the pool nice and clean. The bags do tend to wear out quickly (about 6 months) until they rip in one place or another. It does a good job of picking up very tiny particles.from the pool floor. Amazon's price was about 25% cheaper than the local pool supplier retailers.

When our old (18 years) 280 died, our pool ... When our old (18 years) 280 died, our pool man put in a 3900 as a trial. Within a week, it malfunctioned. Read the reviews on that product. We purchased a new 280 and it is now 3 months in our pool and hasn't missed a beat. No need to spend the money for a more expensive sweep - this one is the gold standard.
