Had this San Diego company for over a year and the pool was looking worse and worse. I started watching on my ring camera and realized that the pool cleaner would spend 7 min or less cleaning or wouldn't show up at all. When I confronted the company, Cody was extremely rude and dismissive. I canceled the service and was never refunded for anything even when I was promised by the Arizona headquarters. All the 5 star reviews are from employees of the company. How is this place still in business???
After being satisfied with Poolman for years, they have undergone management and personnel change in San Diego, and are now a company to avoid. Without notice, they stopped showing up to service my pool, and weeks went by without us being able to reach anyone in the San Diego office, all while our pool turned green. I strongly do NOT recommend Poolman San Diego (they are actually headquartered in Phoenix, AZ). They are poorly managed, especially in San Diego. They have high turnover, and keep unprofessional employees (why don’t they leave?). Poolman likes to blame the customer for their mistakes, and if that doesn’t work, they will blame COVID. I finally filed a complaint with the CA Contractors State License Board (CSLB) against Poolman San Diego for their unprofessional work, and my complaint is still active (they could care less).... read more
I really enjoyed my experience with Poolman! They are under new management currently and they are killing it! Their response rate is fast and answered all my questions kindly. The service itself I was very pleased with- I'll be continuing with Poolman from now on!! So happy!!
Had a problem with my pool pump. Spoke with the manager and the tech was at my place within 45 minutes. Identified the issue, resolved it quickly. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Very good customer service. Outstanding.
