This is my third visit and the service has always been great. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately we have always been disappointed in the food. The combinations don’t always work (ie: the truffle honey on the beniets just didn’t go well with the prosciutto & cheese). I suspect Chef Viviani’s style just doesn’t suit my palate.
We enjoyed our dinner. Anita was a great server. Thanks, we’ll be back
Fantastic food..service..seating..it was our first experience with fine dinning but will not be our last visit to Portico
Our server Michael was absolutely phenomenal! He was friendly, patient, and everything you would ever want in a waiter. We had an absolutely perfect evening. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Home made and fresh, you can tell they put a lot of pride into their menu. Make sure you try one of their fresh made pasta dishes! Made to perfection. Their drinks were dangerously good as well. Would absolutely go again!
We went on a Friday night for an overdue date night. We had a moderatey priced bottle of wine and ordered the kobe meatball app, filet and veal. The meatball was not very flavorful. The veal was absolutely massive in size and was very good. The filet was just ok, we have had much better at local steakhouses. Our service left a lot to be desired. We stayed in the hotel for the night so we choose to dine at the portico. This fine dining restaurant was phenomenal! You should definitely make a reservation. We had reservations for 6:30. When we got there we were greeted by friendly hostesses and brought to our table promptly. Our waiter came over quickly gave us a few recommendations on wine and left us with the menu for approximately 3 minutes.
