I live in Moorpark, CA. I have been going to Cafe Firenze by Fabio since the day they opened. I love the food, atmosphere and people. Other reviews said the service was confusing and in some cases slow, and in our case seemed to be the same. But - that being said all the servers were friendly and our main waiter extremely personable (we enjoyed him very much!!). It was difficult to know who were supposed to ask what of.. one person for water, different one for cocktail, another for food and so on... We went a couple of nights over 3 days because it’s on our way. Enjoyed both times very much. Service, food, and ambience combined to make it a fun experience. Our waiters, Zharko and Ben, were just so nice. They made my wife smile and that’s pure gold. Some tasty treats were the Coccoli platter and the gnocchi. Always great food, never a bad meal. Love the staff!!
The meal itself was good but our waiter was not at all attentive. Never brought bread, asked if we wanted a cocktail, another server saw us sitting there with an empty table so brought us bread and asked what we wanted to drink. Only then did our actual waiter attend to us. He then proceeded to drop an enter tray causing quite a bit of chaos for the staff and other patrons now wearing food.
Service was amazing. Food was not up to par for the price. Gnocchi was mushy should have been much firmer. $32 Filet should be much juicier and tender for the price.

The meals were phenomenal. The veal milanese defies description. There are not enough stars.
