Very stark and cold, needs placemats or tablecloths.. Candles are good also. Steak was good but very salty. Yam was perfect. pear salad was very good.
Overall it was an excellent experience. In an out in less than one hour.The drawback was it took 25 minutes to get our drinks after the waitress took our order. Shouldn't have taken that long as it wasn't that busy. The appetizer presentation was on too large a plate as it was a small portion.
Nice atmosphere, food good but expensive because side dishes extra like your potatoe and salad.
My mother wanted to have lunch at Portico for her 89th birthday. The food was delicious (Orecchiette Pasta, Poached Pear Salad, Tuna Crudo and Dry Aged Steak Sandwich). The poached pear salad had the perfect blend of crunch, salt, sweet and greens; the tuna had just the right amount of heat, and the steak sandwich was, without exaggeration, one of the best that I have ever tasted-flavorful, tender, juicy meat with just the right amount of bread. The service was the best I have had in a while. Our server, Michael was friendly and knowledgeable. He made our dinning experience top notch. The food was authentic and delicious. Fabios wine was very good. Both the red blend and chardonnay tasted as if it would be more then $9. Portions weren't huge but it didn't matter because of how good it was. We will definitely return.
We received the bill and thought they made a mistake, the value is fantastic. Highly recommend .
The food was very high in both flavor and quantity, menu is not overwhelming. Servers could listen a little more attentively as I was brought the incorrect cocktail, however, was exchanged with an apology and at high speed.
Everything was very good. One comment would be the filet was way to salty but cooked very well.
My wife and I were very pleased with the service and knowledge that Anita gave to us. The food was excellant. We will definitely be there again.
