Our family had an in person tour and it was good but the community just did not appeal to us
Lexington Square is the best place for senior living. They give the best of care to my dad who has been a resident for over [number removed] years. The facility is very clean, the staff is super attentive, upbeat and friendly. If he has a medical need, the nurses are just a phone call away. They follow up on my dad and make sure the family is notified if necessary. I know he is safe, has numerous activities to keep him busy, both mentally and physically. Lexington Square Lombard was our second choice, the sales staff were all very knowledgeable and up front and the facility itself was nice.
We toured Lexington Square and it is a little bit of an older facility. The reason we did not choose them was because it is in a very busy area and did not have a park. The team was great with follow up.
The buy-ins for all the communities in my area is really high, and I think it is crazy. I believe Lexington is great. During the move in process the person I was speaking to, ended up moving on to another job. I wasn't told about the process of switching from independent living to assisted living or memory care. I feel like I didn't get all the information and now it is hard to get the information I am asking for. The person that works the front desk is amazing.
I have been very happy with Lexington of Lombard. They are very accommodating. I feel comfortable that my mom is safe there. They give her plenty of of attention. No complaints regarding the food. They have a little bit of outdoor space.
Great open atrium. Happy people all around.
