I was extremely apprehensive to have a tooth extracted without being put to sleep but was assured by the receptionist that the experience wouldn't be as bad as I was making things out to be. When I arrived to the office the receptionist was quite welcoming, remembering speaking to me on the phone and put me at immediate ease by again reassuring me that I was in excellent hands. I wouldn't recommend anybody else, a very genuine caring surgeon who goes out of his way to make his patients happy and accommodate their needs.
The doctor and staff were very helpful at explaining pre-op and post-op instructions. I received a follow up call from the staff the day of my surgery just to ensure that everything was going well.
Dr Prather did great with my son. He was understanding, Quick, efficient and trusted.
To say I was terrified is an understatement. I had a molar extracted under local, and Dr. Prather made sure I was totally numb. I did not feel a thing. That was yesterday. Today, I am getting ready to go to a Pickleball tournament (observing) Feel great!!! He certainly instills confidence in his patients. I will never fear an extraction under local again.
Scheduled my teenage daughter for a procedure was quoted $135 per the billing departments review of my policy and ck firmed with Delta dental that my cost was $135. I paid that in advance so that they would put her on the schedule. Only for about a year later to receive a bill for an additional $250 dollars. When I called and asked about it, the lady was quite rude and refused to accept any responsibility for the $135 quote and told me that the person who I spoke with was no longer employed there and that they can’t be respo... read more
Doctor office asking for money before billing insurance. They also asking for X-rays when I told them my dentist who recommended has them. Person at front desk was very rude.. cancelled my appointment based on how I was treated
When I brought my daughter in for her consult, things were fine. The ladies at the front desk were very nice, and answered all my questions about insurance. Dr. Prather and his staff were nice enough, though he didn't seem very friendly at all. Ashley did my daughter's consult and she was wonderful. The day of surgery was a different story. My daughter stated that Jessica was very abrupt with her, and while I sat with my daughter in recovery, Chelsea was extremely rude. One of the assistants came on to me repeatedly. I ended dating for a while and come to find out she was messing around with me and had a husband and small child at home . So thanks Jess Kirk for making me a home wrecker. The prettier girl I was interested in was another assistant named Chelsea but you made sure that didn't go my way over and over telling me how that Chelsea girl had herpes and I did want that she wasn't clean.
