Premier did an outstanding job on our install. It has already saved us a couple of times. We've had it 7 months now. Power failed on the grid yesterday due to hurricane Helene, and way up here in the woods of East Tennessee our 24kw LP rig stepped up to the task and ran flawlessly and continuously for 17hrs. After using Jeff Woods / Premier Generators for yearly maintenance for previous 4 years. Had no problems when it was run by Jeff Woods. I guess the generator part was sold. So seems they now use golden tools. Now the price in one year for maintenance has gone from $175 to $385. Evidently they are not looking to do this task. So get a quote first. This is an outrageous amount for less than an hour. Beware. Now the technician Maria Stover did a great job checking everything even checked it doing a restart.
It’s been an absolutely miserable experience with “Premier,” from start to finish. I have some concerns with the 22 KW Generac generator itself, but it’s this company’s abysmal service experience that I’ll focus on. I had to call over and over in 2023 to set up installation. UPDATE JULY 26th. Passed gas inspection. 51 days later we now have a working standby generator. Normally I would not have posted a review. But they sent me an email asking me to submit a review. UDATED JULY 12th: FAILED GAS INSPECTION FOR THE THIRD TIME. I guess I’ll have to hire a separate contractor to install the gas pipe and send them that bill too. I have been so impressed, from the beginning, with our experience with Premier Generators. Our sales rep, Justin, was so wonderful and caring. Next, we had Kent and Brandon lay a concrete slab which they had to make the frame on site. I have NEVER met two more respectful individuals.
