Honestly Progress Residential is the worst company I have ever rented through. When I was first moving in, the house was not in the best shape, it smelled heavily of urine (that was fixed before move in but slowly came back and NEVER went away), a lot of the items were SEVERELY damaged, not working, or in poor shape/dirty. When moving in, and walking through with the agent to get the keys, I was informed that everything I was pointing out are things they (Progress) do not hold their renters accountable for. After moving in, ... read more

My wife and I rented a property for 6 years and spent over 100k in rent. We asked for a new fridge because it is rusted out and over 10 years old. This place will increase your rent every year and fabricate some market analysis nonsense. Maintenance repairs are always late or they don’t show. Spend your money with a company that will treat you like a human being.

Shady business that NEEDS inspection and full audit across the country. Stealing from customers and no compassion whatsoever in this COVID-19 crisis.

One of our toilets had a leak when we moved in, we had no idea. We noticed that as the months went on our water and sewage bill consistently rose even as we tried to conserve water. Our water company came out and said we had a leak, progress sent someone and they did find and fix a leak. Now we are 6 months into trying to get a credit with weekly calls that have gone unanswered, emails never replied to and the consistent runaround. We went from paying 180 a month for water and 170 a month fro sewage to now after the repair a... read more

As a 16 year U.S.A.F. veteran, I have been to a few different countries and lived in another. Let me be start by saying that I have never been treated with such a lack of professionalism, respect, and empathy as I have since being a resident with Progress Residential. This treatment been an ongoing from day one, but considering the current state of our country with the COVID-19 epidemic, you'd think you'd find a little more empathy from a landlord, especially having been a four year resident thus far, but it's been quite the... read more

WORST COMMUNICATION EVER!! ALL CALLS TO AGENTS GO DIRECTLY TO VOICEMAIL! NO CALLS BACK! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! The only time you can speak to someone is if you call the customer service line... They reach out to your agent and get a piece of information you need but you still do not get to speak with the agent. NOW, in all fairness, the home is beautiful and in a great location. When you need maintenance, they are quick to send someone out. However, you do this request on line. When I did need somethings done ( they let them... read more

The Coronavirus is having a widespread impact on jobs all across the country as well as in North Carolina. Jobs are at moderate to high risk. The COVID-19 has an affect virtually on every part of the economy, as I am sure your company is very much aware of. I think it is ridiculous in these circumstances that Progress Residential would not consider keeping the rent as is instead of increasing the rent.

Living in a Progress Residential property has been the worst renting experience I have ever had. The lack of communication is downright unimaginable of, I never thought I would experience such a disconnect with customer service from a company operating in the United States. If you do not currently rent with Progress Residential, I highly advise that you avoid this company at all costs. They do not communicate, they do not return calls, or notate any information about previous calls. Their rental prices are very uncompetitive... read more
