This was our second visit to Provision. The first experience was very good and we decided to have another couple join us. All went well until our steaks were served. Our ribeye was served exactly as ordered. However, the other couple ordered a medium-rare bone-in filet and the steak was well done and very charred on the exterior. We let our waiter know and he took it back to the kitchen and apologized. First of all, kudos to Jeff, our server, who was fantastic...informative, not pushy, checked on us exactly enough (not too much, not too little), he made a good-great meal a fantastic one. Food was excellent...wonderful blend of flavors. We typically will try a new restaurant once in a while, then decide if it’s ‘on the radar’ the next time we want someplace nice to go to. Halfway through dinner we had already decided Provision was ‘on the radar’.
Great local steaks and produce. Will definitely go back!
The menu is unique with a great variety of options. Our waiter Jeff was very knowledgeable about the menu so our questions were readily answered. We had salmon, dry aged ribeye steak, lobster dumpling, and scallops which were all excellent. We will happily return .
