Excellent food and service!
Provision is a very hip and trendy spot with great food. The chef is immensely creative with ingredients. The place is very cool inside and a pretty good people watching spot to boot. Be ready to use your outdoor voice, as the noise level is very high. My only reservation is that it is VERY expensive. 3 people with one glass of wine, and one person eating only an appetizer and split portion of soup was > $200 with tip. That is some rarified air, and there are other places I like more for that kind of cabbage.
The industrial look is cool, but all the hard surfaces create a very loud space. The combination of very low lighting and very small print made reading the menu a challenge. The food was terrific; carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Initial service was excellent, but when we were ready to pay our check, our server disappeared for 10 minutes before taking our payment.
