Excellent food with unique menu and exceptional service.
I have always been a fan of the Cunningham Group restaurants and Provision is my favorite. I have been there several times but had never sat outside. I requested it in my reservation and was quite pleased to be accommodated! MJ's service was wonderful and the fried green tomatoes were gorgeous! However, our bottle of 2017 Seghesio Zin was the crowned jewel--I have it at home quite a bit bit this bottle was AMAZING! Bravo!!!
This was our second time to Provision. Our server, Mike, was outstanding. Worked very hard to make sure we knew how food was prepared and presented. We love the industrial ambiance of The Ironworks. We had the lamb and it was very good. We just felt that some of the menu is a bit overpriced. The king crab toast is an excellent appetizer...but $25? This was my first visit and I will definitely return. The food was superb and the service outstanding. The server was knowledgeable not only about the food, but also the wines. At one point, she and my friend were discussing the Sonoma Chardonnays vs. the "regular" Chardonnays. Being a red person, it went over my head. It could have been quieter; but all restaurants are noisy these days.
