The last three times my husband and I have dined at Provision it has been for birthdays. First my birthday, then my husband's and then his stepfather's. We always get the lobster dumplings (MUST) and the outdoor space is a cool atmosphere.
My husband and I were at Provision for our anniversary. Jeff, our waiter, was excellent. He was attentive, explained various ingredients, and made sure that our meal was perfect. I sent back my drink to have an ingredient added and my steak, which had too much pepper, for my taste. We wanted the spinach to be more like creamed spinach and Jeff spoke with the chef and made that happen. I highly recommend this restaurant and requesting Jeff, as your waiter.
We went to Provision to celebrate an anniversary. Since it was a special occasion, we weren't concerned with the prices. Our overall dining experience was excellent. The food was excellent, and the waiter was attentive without being intrusive.
