It was fine. I think they just need to better train the wait staff - a restaurant with high end wines and high end meal prices should have better trained staff. Waiters that squat down at the table is not appropriate at this level of dining. Asking a couple of times for water...I shouldn't have to. I find the square tables are too big for a conversation of four at these noise levels. Food was spectacular! The lobster dumplings were a mind blowing delicious, the tuna tartar was great as well, kind of crazy you have to pay for bread that most restaurants, even high end provide for table. I had the chefs special which included a filet, 2 jumbo shrimp and a sea scallop. Orders were cooked to perfection. The service was super SLOW, had to ask to have drinks refilled multiple times. When your tab for 6 people is $500+ you would expect that your drinks would remain full and your service would be top notch.
Our 1st time dining here and Nick was very helpful!
The food and service were above expectations. My only concern is about the noise level. It can become difficult to hear others at your table at a busy hour.
