High quality and does a great job. It tends to use too much tape ... High quality and does a great job. It tends to use too much tape if you are trying to make short labels, which gets costly, as the cartridges are a little expensive.
I had an older model which just quit working one ... I had an older model which just quit working one day. This model is OK, but the display is very difficult to read. You have to tilt the machine just right to see the LCD brightly enough. Also, although the tapes I have for the old model have the same model number as the tapes that fit this machine, the older tapes won't fit in the new model. The new tapes have a hole which the older tapes don't, which a post in the new machine goes into.

Handy For someone who loves to color-code, alphabetize, and label, this labeler is heaven. :) Lots of options on how the text looks and what symbols are displayed. The starter tape lasted a fair amount of time before I had to order more. There isn't a lot of warning, though, when the tape is about the run out, so if you're doing something important make sure you have back up tape. Changing the tape is pretty easy, especially with the provided instructions. One thing I hate about this labeler is how quickly it drains batterie... read more
But for no more labeling than I will be doing it worked great. This item did exactly what I wanted for my labeling. I agree with other customers about it wasting to much labeling. But for no more labeling than I will be doing it worked great.
