Worth the wait 2017 Black Friday deal here on Amazon, I picked this up for like $10. Apparently, everyone else wanted it, too! Amazon was very prompt about e-mailing about the severe backorder, including updates about shipping. Small and light enough to stuff in my work tote, or just keep out on my desk. Easy change label cartridges. Great battery life. The included power cord is a nice accessory. If you're looking for a first-time label maker, this model is the way to go.
Easy and fun, makes great labels Love the label maker, hate how much the replacement tape costs. It's painful. The label maker makes great labels, relatively easy to use once you figure out how to save label tape by getting rid of the enormous margins it puts on everything.Fun to use, and my son has decided to label the world with it. Great gadget.

Great Value This product is a solid buy. It was budget efficient, and the sample tape that came with mine has lasted much longer than I would have thought based on other reviews. I've labeled all my cabinets and desk items at work on just the sample tape. But I would recommend still getting extra cartridges so you aren't left with a labeling need and no labels.

Brother P-touch, PTD210 Label Maker Makes good clear labels which adhere well. A bit complicated to get the desired effects for typeface/size/multi-line/graphics: keep the instruction sheet handy. As many others have noted, there's quite a bit of wasted label material because of the way the mechanical feed mechanism operates. I intend to try non-OEM tape cartridges in order to minimize costs; if they work as well as the Brother brand, I'll use those.
