Really happy with this..these are photos of my marker on back i used handy symbols for care requirements ..took me a half hour to figure out how to get the settings right and familiarize myself with it but then it was very easy.. I bought the 1/2" black on clear tape to make my garden markers..cant wait to mark them all... labels seem very sticky so i think they will endure awhile.. i really like the split in back that helps you get the backing off.. yrs ago we had one at work and it was nearly impossible to remove.

Relieved! So glad I finally found a label maker. Can't wait to use it.

Very easy to use. Very easy to use. No learning curve, no reading the manual. Put the batteries in and start labeling everything in your house.

Best label maker I've ever used This machine works great, has lots of options and is easy to use. As far as using too much label tape, that can be reduced by advanced planning of what you want to print and a scissor. Also that's pretty much the price you pay for the convenience of a quick swap cartridge. I'll take that convenience over a few inches of tape any day.

Good quality product A nice fully functioned label maker. My only complaint is it doesn't come with an AC adapter. Come on Brother it should come with an adapter even if you have to charge a little more - who wants to keep replacing 6 batteries all the time!

but it is actually very easy to learn and has lots of capabilities Finally figured out my new label maker. I waited a month before I took it out of the box because I was a little afraid, but it is actually very easy to learn and has lots of capabilities. This is on top of the fact that it looks better than using my handwriting, although I must say I have nice handwriting. I use PostIt tabs on my document booklets I make for my customers, and it will be nice to use these labels. I can even type a label and tell it to print 10... read more

user-friendly + AC adapter option I was able to buy an AC adapter AND replacement tape at the same time which was very important to me. (I only use labelmaker every couple years, and so why waste the batteries, and I just tossed my 15 year old, still working labelmaker because after spending hours figuring out what its replacement tape should be the tape didn't roll through the machine correctly.) The buttons became reasonably user friendly after a look at the folded up instruction page, which I am storing in a 1 gal. sized ... read more
