Capable machine The label maker has more features than my previous one, so I am still learning its features. Unfortunately (and the reason for my three stars) I will be doing a lot less labeling than with my old machine because of changes in the pricing model. With my old $125 Brother, I kept a large supply of different tapes. With the change to a cheaper machine but significantly more expensive tapes I will doing a lot less labeling
Works Real Well. Fast and easy to use! This device was very easy to setup and use. The labels print fast with a great quality. Strongly recommend it.
LOVE my label maker!!! This is the best label maker I've owned! I lobe that you can but different size labels in, you don't have to buy multiple printers if you want to switch sizes!
Excellent PT-D400 Very user friendly easy to use right out of the box. This label maker is excellent, meets all my labeling needs although I have some problem with the label cartridge Tze FX231 which Brother's Customerer Service is trying to resolve.
PT-D 400 We purchased this unit about 2 months ago and so far so good. Not to big, great quality and easy use. We always like Brother products and that's way we decided to go for it, no regrets. Recommended.
Owner This Brother Label Maker is the best. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. It is easy to use, easy to learn, etc. I have many Brother products and I have never had any trouble with any of their products. I had a chance to trade in my last one for a more advanced model and I am pleased. I have bought several to give as gifts also.
brother label maker. We purchased this label machine to replace a smaller simpler labeler. This Brother label machine has lots more features which often mean a more complex and often meore time consuming learning time. However it actually seemed more intuitive and less difficult to learn. And it even has more lots features. Brother PT D400 Label Maker I purchased this label maker to make labels for my home office and storage. I have used it for storage in my workshop and cellar as well. I found it convenient and easy to use. An area that could be improved is installing new tapes. It could use clearer instructions for this as well. It wastes too much tape because it doesn't allow you to control the actual size of the labels. It defaults to a one inch margin on each side of the printed area.
