Wedding Shower gift My future son-in-law has been talking about needing a label maker. I love and use mine all of the time both at home and at the office. Brother is an excellent label maker and the label tapes are of good quality and hold up over time well.

Options of print styles & tape size Many printing options. I like how you have to press print 2 times so you can verify everything is correct. Also can use various size of tape.
Good label maker. This is not too bad to learn. The font size in the manual is microscopic, which is my only complaint. Prints really nice labels.
Good.... but. Brother is the best out there. I have a 20 year old printer that still works great! And so i bought this without a second thought. Sadly, when you make a label it has a TON of wasted label that you need to trim with scissors. For example, my grandchild (behind my back) made a label that said "hi" which took all of 2.5 inches of label material. But the word "hi" was around 1/4 inch! That means.. expect to buy a LOT of label rolls!

This thing is HANDY! This labeler is very easy to use, the tape is easy to change and I really like it. I labeled dozens of things in my office on the first day. I love that I have the option to plug it in, because I tend to label a whole bunch of stuff and then I don't need it for awhile--by then batteries would be old. I would definitely recommend it!
Awesome. The wirecutter is a bad website and their opinions are bizarre. This is a great label maker at a great value.
