Simple label maker. Produces good quality prints and it works. It doesn't come with preinstalled batteries, so I popped in 4 AAA niMH rechargeables and it works fine. I've printed a few feet of labels so far and the unit I received doesn't seem to have the battery issue that others have noted. NiMH batteries operate at about 1.5v fully charged and alkalines are often over 1.6v and the rechargeable NiMH don't cause a low battery warning which probably means that Brother fixed the low voltage cuttoff on newer produced label ma... read more

Nice label maker It looks very nice with this color. It's lightweight, very easy to use. The label is easy to read and come out in good quality. I use it to make labels for spices in kitchen and also very nice to organize all my files. It operates with 4AAA batteries.
It is a good product I have used for a week and I found it fairly good with that price. I just need a simple label maker for all the food stored in the fridge. After I did a little search, I found this is a convenient and inexpensive product. At first I got it, it did seem to be a battery hog. After I installed four new batteries and wanted to print a label, the screen showed 'LOW BATTERY'. In the first several printing, screen always pop up 'LOW BATTERY'. good product. It's my second machine, so I liked it enough to replace it with the identical item. Mine was around a decade old when it died. I guess i dropped it once too many times.
Average at best Fairly easy to use, but battery life stinks. Only made 10 labels and already shows low battery. Screen is difficult to read.
Has pros n cons but will serves it’s purpose I apprehensive about purchasing another Label maker but I sucked it up and bought this one. I like it because it compact n keyboard layout is good. I wish the buttons were just a bit bigger. The tape gave me a fit putting in but eventually got it. I wish the boarders would show up on screen as you type instead of looking at it while it prints out. I mean all in all it’s gonna serve it’s purpose n that’s labeling diamonds for diamond painting. Nice size labeler. .I like the label quality and size of the labler. It is easy to use if you only want text but if you want to use symbols you almost better have kept the instructions handy
