Does the job well. This labelmaker is easier to use than my previous unit but it has still taken getting used to. Print quality is excellent. I'm still on my first roll of label tape. My only gripe is having to refer to the manual so often for special characters.

Great for labeling an office! I have this new one in my office as a back up to the older brother p-touch label maker and so far I like it. I’m not having any issues yet with the battery life and the labels are printing perfectly. I like how neat the printing it and how I’m able to type everything in quickly and get a quick label. I really love the brothers brand and would definitely recommend this label maker to offices that need to label things constantly.
Good little item For the price this does what you need it for (I had a discount coupon so it brought the down to "can't go wrong"). Directions seem to indicate that you can center the printing on the label, but so far that doesn't work. The directions are not well-written, but just play with it and you will figure it out.
