You can print labels without a adapter. Good item. It’s always on my desk. I sometimes print a lot of labels by batteries. I can use it without a adapter. I prefer Brother P-touch to Epson OK730. I have both of them.
Things will be labled I see a lot of complaints about how wasteful the printing is, but just print multiple lables at once to reduce waste. Can't really blame Brother for the wasteful tape design, it's an old proven working cartridge design. Better than a new one for every model. Print quality is much better than some reviewers posted, may the upgraded firmware fixed things. Software works surprisingly well and is very easy to use. Not sure what's up in battery mode, but I got a low battery warning on fresh new battery set.

The design of the product is neat. It takes about 7 days to ship and the product is good.
Easy to use Set up was super easy with the app. I have not found out how to make some adjustments as with other models (trim length) but I still have time to figure out the nuances of this model. Happy organizing!!
