Outstanding UPGRADE! Decided to UPGRADE to the Cyclonic Scrubbing Turbine after 7 years of the standard MX8. Easy swap out of old turbine was done in May 2019. Its Nov 2019 and all I can say is WOW! I have a 22 year old PebbleTec lined pool and this is perfect for cleaning/scrubbing a surface that is not as baby smooth as when new. Machine stopped climbing walls when I added the I added this to my MX 6. Disappointing that I had to buy two for a machine with only one propeller which doubled my expense. I realize they were intended for the 8 which requires two but they are also marketed for the 6. As far as I can tell it does help keep my pool bottom clean but my MX6 won’t climb my pool walls now that I have added this.
