It’s a great facility for detox @ therapy but unfortunately residential stay amenities sucks like boot camp , staff and support groups are great though Dr Perez great therapist, Kim from coordination extremely kind and accommodating
This place is a racket from the first phone call. All lies. Be careful when choosing this place . They lie about everything. From the amount of money out of pocket to the programs they say you will be in. I left this place worse then a when I came. Be very cautious of there promises. Even if you catch them lying they point blank said there is nothing you can do and nothing will happen to us. So if that is the treatment you want you have found the place.
Where to begin? For a start the listed numbers all take you to AAC corporate. Where you have to play phone tag to get through to Recovery First. Where you promptly get an answering machine. More phone tag with corporate finally gets you through to a human being. Usually a frustrated asst named Pam. Easy and pleasant enough to enroll my family member into detox and rehab. This is such an amazing facility! The staff are so kind and I definitely got the help I needed! Sarge and Mr. Andy are the absolute best and they do not take any shit! They tell it like it is and I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone looking for treatment. Thank you all so much for everything!!!!!
In my opinion and alot of other patients Recovery First is a joke.When i arrived the first couple of days everything was OK ,But went Down Hill Quickly. They lied to me from the Very Beginning when I was on the phone checking on places. An Employee stoled my $100 flash light and said that they were going to replace it but haven't seen it yet. I entered Recovery First with the goal to detox from one prescribed med only to be put on a far more addictive med that after 4 weeks am still trying to withdraw from. Haven’t been able to work since due to the side effects.Think seriously before going here because for me it was a big mistake.
Cock roaches knives in every room and they stole my money
The entire experience from start to finish was less than satisfactory. Including an outrageous bill we were not aware of & cannot afford. My husband is an alcoholic. The day he left for this rehab he told me he couldn’t lose me and he was going to come home a new man. I never would have guessed in a million years what becoming a new man could have the potential of turning into at the time.
