RecommendedExtremely impressed with the staff that my grandmother has had so far. They have even taken extra steps to help her feel safe buy allowing her to set in her wheelchair at the nurses desk. They keep encouraging her to do her best and get stronger.

Not sure where else to put this but here it goes, I would just like to thank Encompass Kingsport for saying they would be to pick up my grandmother today and didn’t. We had her ready all day to go ( which is hard to do) then 3 hrs past time to be here my dad had to call and see what was going on. He was told at 8pm that they wasn’t coming because of staffing. My brother was just transferred there for a stroke. All his family is in Oklahoma, I called to get an update on him and give a brief medical history. I was placed on hold and sit for nearly 10 minutes for someone to answer! He’s been there since Friday and if this is what you get when you call this is not going to go well! Get it together people. You need to consider the fact that not all your patients have family that can come see and visit, when they call they want to speak to someone not be placed on hold forever
They have some very good therapist, but the facility does not have their act together. They got my dad up at 5 am this morning. He doesn't have breakfast until 7 am. His therapy is later today. Also, they don't take him to the bathroom often enough. They don't always give him a bath. You have to be the patient advocate yourself.
