I would rate all them a 5. Found it to be clean, friendly and have taken good care of my dad. Every staff member is friendly from the greeting I get upon entering and everyone I pass on the way to my dad's room. This includes the nursing staff, therapists and cafeteria staff.
Too close to railroad at 2AM, the man upstairs noisy on bathroom. Can't fix location. Food service the worst. Pre lettuce salad after main course. The staff is very unorganized.
The Staff is Dynamic! The people in the Independetnt side are very kind, loving, considerate, very happy, keeps your spirits up! They have in hose cleaning, you can do your own washing of clothes, bedspreads or have your clothes items sent out. They have a little cafe to get coffee and water. We are very pleased with the community. Renaissance North Tampa was a great choice! The room sizes are very good. Activities I'm not really able to speak to, because the family has not really participated.
This is for the independent living side, where my mother is. A 5 on everything, with exception of number 6, the food, they have a problem with their kitchen and help. But said they are working on it. They are very friendly and concerned about the residents. And if there is a problem, they do address the issues. The apartment is fine. As far as size goes, we thought it would be small, but she's gotten very used to it and really likes it now.
The really time they took with us and their patience with my brother who is a resident at Independent Living. Everyone I had interactions with were kind and helpful.
The clickers on the necklaces do not work probably most of the time. My dad has clicked it on multiple times & staff does not show up for 30+ minutes to check on him. They have also had a lot of internet issues. He complains of slow service in the restaurant too.
For the most part the staff are excellent. As is always the case, there are some exceptions. The facility is okay, clean and well maintained.
There are management issues, and high staff turnover. This is particularly acute in the kitchen. Additionally, it takes repeated attempts to make management interact with the ltc insurer. We were nearly refused reimbursement.
