My experience with the delivery, installation and training for our X-ray unit has been a series of frustrations. I did not realize that the installer ( Andrew) was the trainer as well until the day of training. He arrived an hour late and said that he needed to finish installation. DO NIT BUY USED EQUIPMENT HERE!!!!!!!!! Don’t fo it . Refurbished means you replace the defective parts then you sell it . When they installed my pano the wires to the monitor were apparently defective so they wrapped them with black masking tape . (Its like taping your iPhone charger instead of getting a new one. It works for a while)Barely a year after my purchase of course it went bad ended up having to pay 10,000 to replace the entire monitor. Also all x-ray machines come with calibrating tools. I do not reccommend this company everything was fine until the tech did the installation it did not go well and there was little time for training so no one really knows how to do cbct or extraoral bite wings pano was doing well till support screwed us up it is supposed to go through dexis but they have it going through romexis so it will not go into the chart we need a tech to set it up right and more training right now the machine is worthless (planmeca cbct)

I purchased a PlanMeca Cone beam machine from Renew Digital. Please beware that when you buy used equipment, there may be software licensing issues that Renew may NOT tell you about. I just found out that our machine is licensed under the previous owner, and now that the Romexis software is outdated and needs updating in order for the machine to work, I have to fully purchase brand new licenses. I bought a 3d cone beam ICAT machine couple months ago from Renew Digital on recommendations made by one their sales person. I paid 82k to buy ICAT machine which full range of xray functionality. Ever since I have the bought the machine it has broken down atleast 10 times and every time I call Renew digital to fix it they take hours to fix it and then they say they have to replace a part in the machine. Cheat on not providing the 3 license codes for the Tx Studio software as written on the instruction email. Technician Kevin arrived late. Parts and computer were not sent on time. Coordinator Doug failed response to phone and email. Overall, it was a bad experience!
