very nice staff, excellent service, everything was explained to me thoroughly. 2/19/21 I do question 7,000 of lab fees for a couple of toenail clippings. my insurance paid the negotiated rate and I owe nothing, but those charges are exorbitant. in contrast, I had an abdominal CT scan that was about 9,000 at the hospital.
I went to see Dr Mobarak. He offered me to options to relieve pain experienced with an ingrown toenail- both the most drastic options involving removal of the toenail. I visited a second podiatrist who offered 2 additional options of topical treatment and partial removal of the toenail on the effected side only. They also clipped my toenail providing me immediate relief! I shared all of this with Southwest Foot and Ankle and requested 1/2 credit of my billed office visit charge. I never heard back from them. I've been to a couple of podiatrists for initial diagnosis and treatment of Gout (which I wasn't sure of at the time). My previous Podiatrist took x-rays and gave me meds which worked, but never really followed up on me to so further testing. I feel that Dr. Mobarak's experience and attention to details is excellent and that he will take good care of you. He was able to verify the diagnosis and properly treat my condition. I'm a fellow doctor in another field and I am very happy with his services.
I have know Dr. Mubarak for 20 years and can say that he is one of the most intelligent people I know. He cares about his clients and goes out of his way the help. He has help me and my son over the years. I would recommend him over any other DPM in the state.
Got huge quantity of meds (topical creams and patches for pain) at my house 2 weeks after seeing Dr for a yellow toe nail, that's it, no pain. He said there were no issues, was purely a cosmetic issue. Then why did I get all these meds?!?! Is he scamming my insurance company? He also took my blood for no good reason, the flabotomist said it was to check against any future Rx's, to make sure there where no issues. Now that I read the previous post, makes me wonder. I'm going to call my insurance company tomorrow.
