A subordination was needed for a lean the solar company placed on our house. The lean was a surprise to us and we were never told a lean was going to be placed on our home. This was not discovered until the day we were supposed to close. This delayed our closing by over a week as a subordination was required. This should have been discovered during the underwriting process. Certainly should have been discovered before the day of closing. I would still recommend The Mortgage Firm as my broker.
