Bette due diligence should have been done to determine the best loan for my situation. Mortgages and refinancing are hot right now which meant Rick and his team were extremely busy. As a result, a decision to pursue one type of loan vs another was made based on what was easier/faster for Rick's team rather than what was best for me. The end result made for an incredibly stressful few weeks with actions being requested that could have been avoided had a different loan been pursued.

The issues I had was the amount of time of to closing. 3 months it took to get to our closing. During this time communication of very lack luster. En leading up to my closing date I had very little communication that it was even going to happen. The day of closing came as a surprise to me.

Constant communication is important during such an important and lengthy process of purchasing a home. Transparency and honesty is also important in order to build trust with your clients. All of this was missing during during my process.

There was some miscommunication between us and TMF which lead to a lot of tension toward the end of the process

I encourage to read sale contract completely. In my case lender did not read the contract completely. Because of this I lost roughly $5000 amount which was very unpleasant experience.
