Easter brunch with best friend and cousins. Lovely food, service, and ambiance.
Probably the best Italian restaurant in Milwaukee! A little cramped inside but the food is worth it!
This month’s theme was “Traditional Ristorante Bartolotta Menu.” Like all long-time regulars, we were delighted to see a return to many of the pre-pandemic dishes. For the first course my wife and I had fried seafood including calamari, shrimp, scallop and fish. Although very good, we missed Chef Juan’s famous calamari. Food was fabulous and the servers were attentive, not overbearing.
We have come here many times and are Bartolotta rewards members. This last time we came for a birthday dinner and it was a big miss. The service was not up to par (kept having to flag down someone to grab our server) and the food was not amazing. Also the plates were quite small compared to every other time we’ve been here. Everything was superb. All four courses were excellent. Service was outstanding. Great place for a special occasion.
The food was excellent. The service is always outstanding! We expect to pay more because foods are usual and good. It is often made with combinations that are unusual. My only complaint is about the amount of wine pour. The wines are good wines. The average glass is $15-20. They fill the glasses 1/3 full. I believe they should at least be 1/2 full. Thank you.
