My sister and I enjoyed this tour. The facility was clean, the rooms are all being renovated which was really nice to see. We enjoyed the fact that we saw a lot of the residents out and about, playing bingo and word games. The staff was very friendly. It was a very upbeat community and we enjoyed that the most. [Name removed] did a great job answering all of our questions and giving us the tour.

Woodland Terrace at The Oaks is a beautiful place. The place ended up not being a good fit for my wife. She needed more than assisted living care. The staff there did not seem to have the structure and experience to deal with the issues at hand. There were no complaints regarding the meals. It is a clean environment but not a good fit.

This community is now Rittenhouse Village At Lehigh Valley. This review was written in 2017 and the community has has since been purchased in 2018 and is now operated and managed by Discovery Senior Living. The community had a complete designer remodel and security upgrades installed in 2018, and in fact, was voted Senior Advisor's Best Of Assisted Living in 2020.
I looked into this community to explore care options for my father. Unfortunately they were not able to provide the level of care my father needed, but I had a nice tour. From what I saw everything was nice, and clean. The lobby area was very well maintained. This is a nice looking community.
It is still a work in progress for my father in the memory care portion of this community. However my mother is doing wonderful in the assisted living portion. I'am pleased with my mother living in the assisted living. She gets the freedom to go to see my father whenever she wants too. The staff is very friendly, and have been helpful when needed. We had prior knowledge of this community because both my wife's parents stayed here previously. The dining room is beautiful and varied with great food choices, many rooms have good views, staff lets Mom know when meals and activities are held. The sales staff was great as are the help. First floor has all the activities and dining. Residents live mostly on the second and third floors. They even have a house dog for everyone's enjoyment. My wife went into Woodland Terrace at the Oaks on June 29 2017. With the holiday and mishandled paperwork from her doctor, it has been difficult to get insurance approval (no fault of Woodland).
Since I had moved my mother into this community I have no complaints of how things are going for her. The staff are friendly and make sure to accommodate her needs at the best of there ability. She has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in activities from time to time with the other residents. Overall we are happy and would recommend it to anyone.
This is a beautiful community. The person that took us on tour was friendly and they offer some nice amenities. This community, however was a little more expensive than what we were looking for.
