River Glen of St Charles is a beautiful independent & assisted living senior community I had the pleasure of touring! I took my mother there for a delicious lunch and we met with the very friendly staff. We picked out an absolutely beautiful townhome for my mother after we met with the activity director, Karen and sales director, Claudine. River Glen of St. Charles is a beautiful community, the residents and staff are welcoming and friendly. I toured the beautiful community the other day and my favorite part of the tour was the homes they are beautiful and HUGE for family gatherings during the holidays, the community has Independent living, Assisted Living and Memory Care. I would highly recommend River Glen of St. Charles.
It's the BEST! The facility is like home, beautiful, warm, and the apartments are well designed for comfort and safety. But it's the staff that makes all the difference. They are professional, welcoming, and truly work hard to make each resident feel loved and cared for. My only wish is that we had found it sooner.
A very good family friend recently moved to River Glen assisted living as a respite care resident for 30 days until the family could find a live in caregiver. After 2 weeks there he asked if he could stay permanently! I spent a lot of time with him over the past few years and I have never seen him as happy as he is now. The staff at River Glen is very caring and many have been there for years. The nurses keep family informed of any changes in health or well being. Activities are offered to keep residents engaged if they choose and the coordinators are warm and friendly. Most importantly I felt my mother was safe. The facility is well appointed and very comfortable. There are outside areas which is a nice option to relax in during the good weather. The only possible negative is the food.
