Best Vacation Resort I absolutely love this resort. It's top notch. The environment is nice, respectable, and cozy. Everything is just wonderful. I would highly recommend it.
Enjoyed the stay here Stayed in the Fairway Condos, Unit 30A. Very clean 3 bedroom 2 bath with location just off a green on River Oaks Golf Course.
Great Location We stayed at a 3 bedroom Golf Villa at River Oaks. The King size bed in the master bedroom was 2 singles pushed together which leaves an uncomfortable crack in the middle which defeats the purpose of a king size bed. These units must be condo 's that the individual owners rent out, our unit was clean, but the furniture was worn/old. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The location is close to all the Myrtle Beach sites and the beach. Overall it was a nice stay for the money.
Great place to stay. My family enjoyed staying here and will definitely return. It's be nice though if they had a frying pan or bake ware for the oven.
Great Weekend Getaway! Our visit to River Oaks was very enjoyable. The condo was very clean, view was terrific, and location was great. The condo is not ocean front, but only a short drive away from the beach, and other area attractions. Browadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand, and various restaurants were only a 5 minute drive away. We will definitely visit River Oaks again.
Attentive to our needs; great service We had a great time on our stay. Mom decided to come after we had made reservations, and we didn't think to add her and note her handicap access requirements. We arrived after hours, and had a 3rd floor room with no elevator. It was too late to do anything the first night, but the facility got us relocated to another room on the first floor (and walking distance to the pool) the next morning. I would have given the hotel a 5 if these minor details were fixed...the kitchen needed a few pots AND pans to cook with. Also some dish towels. In the bedrooms/bathrooms some pillows and extra towels.
