RecommendedDr. Carlson recommended that I try Vetradent for bad breath and plaque for my Chihuahua, it has worked with amazing results. No more bad breath. He also sells Sniffy Wiffy Healing Nose Balm, a treatment for brittle and cracked noses. This also has worked and in such a short amount of time. Please consider this your first choice for a vet.

Couldn’t be more pleased with our visit to Riverside this evening . From the moment we walked in the door the staff was friendly and pleasant. Dr. Carlson was very knowledgeable and courteous to us and our animals. He answered all our questions and concerns. Happy we brought our animals to this clinic!

I love the combination of Holistic medicine and tradition medicine. Dr Carlson has a very deep understanding of my cats and dog. He has helped many of my pets when other vets couldn’t.

I absolutely love the care and intelligence that dr. Carlson has. I love the option for holistic approach and appreciate his thoughtfulness in our animals. We lost our patch to a very aggressive cancer and he asked how his brother dozer was doing emotionally and it truly meant the world to me that he cares! I always highly recommend riverside to anyone that asks!
Dr Carlson is amazing and has a ton of patience. He cares and educates the human. He gave my cackapoo his quality of life back when he had a bad back. #grateful.
Doctor Jim Carlson saved my GSD's Life! He is a miracle maker who saved our family dog Eredar! The entire staff is amazing. Words could never say what we feel in our hearts for saving our family dog. We were so impressed with him, we took out other dog Dazju to him to see if he could help with allergies he suffers through since he was a puppy. I am happy to say he is more comfortable with hardly any itching or hot spots for the first time in his life! We are now true believers in holistic treatment! ❤️
Dr. Carlson gave my beloved Eskie, Lillie, 3 more years and 2 far more peaceful mos as she battled an exceedingly rare brain cancer. His innate, altruistic nature, soothing energy and VAST outside-of-box knowledge gave my Lillie a far higher quality of life and the kindness and caring that is a lost art among most vets these days. I’m not a religious person; however, I am spiritual...Dr. Carlson is this world’s gift to animals. I wish more vets would advocate for our loved children the way he does. Thank you for all you do.
Took my Oreo in today she’s 15, slowing down & not feeling well... We say Vet Technician Cari who was a angel from heaven. Her compassion for Oreo was seen through her gentle ways, soft caresses on Oreo’s head & her calming reassuring words to me help make a stressful situation much easier to process.
