RecommendedWe saw doctor Applebaum this morning. She was really friendly and helpful. Their prices are much better than Laytonsville Vet. We felt nickel and dimed there. Today was almost $200 less than Laytonsville for exactly the same thing. We were much happier with the experience.
I can't even put into words how glad I am that I found Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital a few months ago. We were going through a very difficult time with Eernie's paw. Dr. Morris, Dr. Lane, Dr. Bricker and the rest of the team at Rocky Gorge have been wonderful. I only wish we had found them sooner. I referred my niece there and coincidentally ran into her there this morning. She too is very glad they switched to Rocky Gorge. I've always come to Rocky Gorge for the best care of foster dogs. And now the care needed to be extended to a parakeet I adopted with an overgrown beak. Thanks to the responsive pleasant scheduling from Kevin, I got in to see Dr. Bricker asap to help my little Milton eat and preen in a normal way. The late appointment hours are such a plus with my work schedule too! The staff are always very nice and I am so glad to find a veterinarian with experience treating birds. My dog Oscar had surgery here a couple weeks ago. He's getting old and I was nervous about it from the start. The staff was awesome throughout the surgery and all follow up visits. Dr. Morris did a great job and Rachel was super nice and very helpful, as well as everybody else from the time I walked in til the time I left. Highly recommend!

I have never met a more honest, straightforward, thorough and supportive veterinarian. Dr. Appelbaum spoke to us not as clients, but as friends. I feel so much better taking our dog to see her! She gave us all the information she could and educated us on the right game plan to get our dog back on a healthy track. I look forward to working with her in the future. Thank you, Dr. Appelbaum, you're da BAUM. I'm so sorry, my husband is forcing me to say that. Hahahahaha.
