I wish I could give a score lower than zero. This company took something that shouldve been an easy fix to a situation that took months to resolve. My condo had a leak coming from inside a wall. I shouldve called the plumber and had it taken care of the next day. I remembered that I had a home warranty on the property so I contacted them instead. That was my first mistake. Do not use Rocky Mountain Restoration. This company did not complete any work on our home and have aggressively attempted to collect over 4,000$ from us and our insurance company. For 9 months, they have declined to respond to our requests. They left equipment in our home for over 2 months and when asked to collect it, they claimed it was not in our home. Working with them has been extremely frustrating, and time consuming. Their business practices are dishonest, fraudulent, and careless. I would have left no stars if they h... read more

Do not ignore all of these 1 star reviews - there is a reason for this! Their prices are extremely inflated because they intend to pass the cost onto your insurance company, but if your claim gets denied they will come to you with the **** and argue that prices are reasonable and it is industry standard. I don't deny some level of work was performed that deserves compensation, but in all my time working with contractors in my home I have never seen such inflated prices with so little forewarning about these costs. Avoid this company by all means. We hired them and while they were on time, when they sent us the bill we were shocked to see a ridiculous amount of money charged with a list of fake services they did not provide. Including the square footage of the area which they serviced. They only worked on one corner where the water heater sat and they charged us for the entire two door garage space. We hired this company against the "Preferred Company" my insurance provider was going to have do the repairs after a fire in the garage. The troubles started soon after they showed up. We had issues with things they took and were supposed to either salvage them or list them on a non-salvagable list so my insurance can reimburse me for. The issue is there was so much they kept but didn't list. For example I had two 30" bar clamps and they returned on out of the two. Rocky Mountain Restoration was referred to me by the company who was sent out by my home warranty company to replace my hot water heater. The job should not have been a big job. He hot water heater went out and leaked down the side was and out the garage door. This happened on a Thursday evening and the following Monday the hot water heater was replaced, Rocky Mountain Restoration came out on Tuesday and set up their dehumidifiers and air filters. I want to share my experience with Rocky Mountain Restoration. My parents of 80 + years had a water pipe break in their bathroom on April 20, 2018. I arrived at their home today July 16,2018. Their bathroom is still not useable. Beware of this when considering using this company. This company has caused more damage to their home than the original damage . They have had 20 weeks to repair the original damage and damage they have caused. They have taken advantage of my elderly parents. Buyer BEWARE

RMR is competent and they "do their job". But, they are ridiculously expensive. They primarily get paid via insurance claims and are accustomed to very deep pockets. If you're filing an insurance claim and someone else's money is paying the bill, why not! If you're a cash customer, think twice! They had a negative attitude towards this frugal cash customer, as if I was insulting them for wanting to keep costs down.
