We had dinner before a show in el dorado. Very enjoyable, steak was excellent, professional service.
Last year my gay partner and I (we're both gay) had our Thanksgiving meal at the Roxy because my favorite band, Norway's progressive extreme metalists ENSLAVED were playing at the club down the street on Black Friday. Always a great place to get a family be meal. Bacon cheese bread is a must get. Steaks are well cooked and seasoned. Price is affordable and service is excellent.
Excellent food atmosphere. Service impeccable. An unbelievable experience. Would recommend to anyone, and have. Everyone we have sent there has been more than satisfied.
Overall I give it 3 stars. The food was decent, nothing really spectacular. Our waiter was only accommodating when it was almost time for the check to be given. I was expecting the food and service to be higher quality, for the price, but was pretty disappointed.
One of my favorites in Reno. This visit was to celebrate my birthday. :) Sam was our server, he's THE BEST! Ask for him when you dine here. Dinner was great, had the short ribs, so flavorful and tender. What was a surprise was the card signed by the restaurant to wish me a happy birthday and the cocktail on the house. Such a thoughtful gesture. When you dine here, be sure to ask for the bacon cheesy bread. You won't be disappointed.
I was very disappointed with our experience. The service was next to none. I did not realize I could have had 50 percent off because we were going to a show. We told our waiter he said nothing. The food was excellent but did not make up for ruining our evening
Roxy at the El Dorado Hotel & Casino was everything that I could have asked for and more. It was the perfect place to have a dinner date with my husband. We will definitely be returning when we visit the Reno area in the future.
We are long time residents but had never eaten at Roxy's. We knew it would be good because it's at the El Dorado Hotel Casino. It was fantastic! We will be back.
