Good place to meet with friends, great food and service. We dine at Roxy's whenever we're in town.
We were undecided between two places. We choose Roxbury based on the menu. Once we arrived we were very impressed and happy with our choice. The atmosphere was romantic, elegant and our service staff was amazing. They were knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic, helpful, and just the right amount of checking on the table. Looking forward to going back.
The food was great, and the menu selections were numerous. Our waiter, Scott, brought our entree while we were in the middle of the salad course. He just stood there with the plates in his hands until we said where are you going to put this (we were at a table for two). He took them back to the kitchen, while we hurriedly ate the rest of the salad. When the entrees returned, mine was not hot. We asked for more bread, but never saw the bread come our way. My husband took me here for my birthday. We had their filet mignon dinners. Steaks were fork tender. Very nice wait staff. Quiet setting, very romantic. Bar next door has live music (like a piano man) and a dance floor. Music was easy to listen to and in restaurant was quieter. Nice place. We would dine there again.
We had a great meal for our 45th anniversary. Highly recommend for special occasions and any time dining.
