I have observed a decline in Rumpke's trash collection service, particularly today. I am uncertain if this is related to the purported holiday June Tenth, but I have noticed that they have collected various items, including furniture, from residents' trash in my homeowners association. However, today they left certain items, such as rugs and padding, at the curb. It took me only two minutes to load these items into the back of my truck. All of the Refuse and Recycling Collection Technicians that come to our house weekly are great!! They definitely deserve to be paid very well. It has to be a very tough job, not only for what they’re picking up, but for doing it in such hot weather conditions. A note to everyone make sure to tip your Collectors. I called Rumpke to make sure we were allowed to tip them as I did not want to get anyone in trouble. I was told by an office worker that it is perfectly fine to tip them and very appreciated. Overall, usually do a nice job. A few deficiencies. First, with yard waste bundled items like tree trimmings are occasionally ignored, left behind. Second, emptied cans are occasionally left in the street causing a slight driving hazard.

Rumpke and its drivers and crew do a great job. I’ve witnessed them cleaning up if there were some spillage on the ground. They are very conscientious about placing the right garbage cans back in the right location or house. I am very pleased with the service I received. On very hot days we provide the crew and offer them a cold bottle of water or juice!

We have had phenomenal service from Rumpke. The individuals who pick up our trash and recycling are the best. They are efficient, helpful, friendly, and careful (safety conscious) in our neighborhood which has not very wide streets (and no sidewalks) where there are often vehicles parked in the road, people walking including with smaller children, and other obstacles. The cost is very reasonable and the communication with the company easy.
