I wish Dr. Silverman could be my doctor for everything. He saved my life, continues to be 100% knowledgeable about my health care, always comforting and encouraging. In short, I trust him 100% with my health care and am so very very grateful that he's my cardiologist!
My first visit was almost 38 years ago and was a great experience. Stayed with his practice till I moved to Florida in 1998. He and Dr Marvasti (Surgeon) took the best care and took the time to listen

I have been a patient of Dr. Silverman's for over 25 years. Dr. Silverman's diagnostic skills have always been his strength as a physician. I have heard other patient's comment that they do not see Dr. Silverman but rather they see the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Well I see him and he is there reviewing the diagnostic studies and providing recommendations for treatment. Times have changed. I personally want the right diagnosis and right treatment. I am a nurse & patient.

Succinct but thorough review of medical problems addressed, expectations for self care and thorough explanation of tests, medications prescribed and follow up appointments. Appropriate referral to other specialists. Courteous and kind mannerism in delivery of care.

Was supposed to have an appointment on 8/16. Just before leaving got a call that it had to be changed because Dr. S had to go to the hospital. Went there on 9/18. Never saw Dr. S, so what was the point of changing. Nurse knew I had serious questions about 1 of the meds was on. Now I have to wait under the end of Nov. to see Dr. S. Very, very upset about the way my needs were brushed aside.
My family member had an appointment with him recently. As a future doctor in medical school right now, I am appalled at his disrespect for his patients. Rude, interrupting, and proud of it. If I treated my standardized patients like this, I would get thrown out of med school. Thanks for reminding me what NOT to do.
