Dr Kunstadt Excellent, very in depth first visit he asked so many questions we talked in depth I was very impressed I feel very confident with him as my doctor.
Dr. Kunstadt has a no nonsense approach and very willing to listen and consider what you as a patient have to contribute. He often makes suggestions that are individualized and is very patient and kind. I find his approach very reassuring and helpful in so many ways. He is an integral part of my team of physicians that are trying to prolong my life from a very difficult illness.
Where do I begin? Dr. Kunstadt has gone above and beyond for our Family. My father was referred to an endocrinologist about a year ago after being pushed from doctor to doctor with his condition. He was not able to walk (bc he was weak), he did not have an appetite, and we were told he had a few minor heart attacks. My father was not eligible for medicare, and his work withdrew him from coverage due to no attendance. He was unable to work for the past 3 months. Even though he was very booked up, one of his office personnel fit me in in 1 week. The office treated me very nicely and I was taken in a reasonable amount of time. Dr. Kunstadt was prompt and had the best bedside manner I have ever encountered in a doctor. Though I had researched him prior and all reviews were not only positive, but outstanding, I still expected the usual: getting treated like a number and the doctor acting like he was in a hurry. Since relocating to FL two years back, I have been searching for an Endocrinologist, found many but remained unsatisfied with their service. Finally found Dr. Kunstadt whom I have seen twice and so far I am extremely happy. Dr. Kunstadt is very prompt in answering my emails and my concerns outlined in them. When I first saw Dr. Kunstadt my A1C was 8.9, my recent lab results indicated a 7.5.
The best and number 1 in my book. Dr.Kunstadt took the time to talk to me and caused my A1C to drop from 12.5 to 7.4 by his instructions and medication advice. This was due to his dedication and support and understanding my issues . the last few years was uncontrolled diabetic . Dr. Kunstadt will help you take charge of your health. NUMBER 1.
Dr. Kunstadt is incredibly professional and knowledgable about his field. He is also very responsive, as he always provided very timely answers to all of my questions. Given that endocrinology was something I knew very little about, I had many questions for him while he cared for me. He provided clear answers and never made me feel like I was bothering him. He was an asset to the Ochsner endocrinology department.
Dr. Kunstadt is one of the naturally talented physicians who are exceptional in a number of areas that are vital to any patient. He listens to your concerns and makes direct eye contact to let me know he is listening intently. He studies the MRI screen results while you are sitting with him and answers your questions. He treats me as a true partner in my healthcare needs because we are a team focused on the mission of optimal health for me.
