He is an amazing doctor who has a great bedside manner. And he is a very compassionate doctor who cares about his patients
I went to Dr. Takenaga for carpel tunnel surgery. He listened to me even though he had probably heard the same thing hundreds of times. He provided excellent care throughout the entire surgery and post-op. The Emerge staff at the office and the surgical clinic are excellent. I would recommend Dr. Takenaga to anyone for excellent care.

I visited Dr Takenaga for some mid-level knee pain. Service at EmergeOthro was excellent, and diagnosis was quick and accurate. I did elect to have surgery to clean up some meniscus and cartilage damage in my knee. Results were wonderful, almost instant relief in my case. Dr Takenaga is very personable, and I’d highly recommend him and EmergeOrthro for any knee or joint related issues.
Dr. Takenaga performed an extensive surgery on my 62 year old injured shoulder. Prior to surgery I had almost no mobility and significant pain when using my left arm. 5 months after surgery I have 90% mobility, no pain and I am playing golf again.
